How Might You Boost Your Productivity? Don’t do more. Don’t work faster. Apart from the odd crisis the human body/brain is optimised for that rate you occasionally recognise when you are in the zone. Search for that: it’s individual, satisfying and produces great results.

In 100: don’t give up!

It’s the same three words : don’t give up. The challenging news continues to flow, few seem to know anything factual and winter beckons. But hang onto the powerful timeless mantra : don’t give up. Because you know you and this period has given you an opportunity to understand yourself even more. It’s a time which can be scary, frustrating and certainly stressful. But don’t give up, don’t let anyone spoil your day and take it one step at a time. Grab every bit of freedom you can, help others who need it. Oh, and don’t give up. Ever.

M-E-D-S is our core strategy, meditation, exercise, diet and sleep.

M is meditation. Taking some time out. A walk. A book. A classic ‘OM’ meditation. A time of quiet, of solitude, of nature, of planet earth, of gratitude. Certainly a time with minimum distractions and pulls in your synapses.

Regular meditation will support better sleep. Better sleep will allow deeper and more profound meditation.

M-E-D-S is our core strategy, meditation, exercise, diet and sleep.

S is sleep. Sleep debt is a slow but sure debilitator of our best efforts. Don’t accept anything less than a great night’s sleep. Do you need to adjust the room temperature? Less late night screen time? A good book to induce drowsiness? More exercise and meditation during the day? Improved task management to ensure worries don’t bubble to the surface at 3 am? Decide to tackle it. Try serious goal of waking naturally with the alarm only as a back-up; that way you know you have had the prefect amount of sleep.

Reading and writing is what we do.

I do it; you do it; we do it.

For your sanity, read widely and deeply. For your continued sanity in a crazy world, write.

Write long, write deep. Write for you, write for others.
